Switch not illuminated-why?

Just above the window switches on the driver door is a window lock switch and a door lock switch. The window lock (far left) does not illuminate when the lights are on. Is mine broken or is that normal?

Mine's the same way. I'm pretty sure it doesn't illuminate. Oversight IMO.

Same here...it doesn't bother me much. What drives me nuts is the fact that the ENTER on the navi joystick doesn't light up! WHY!??

How often do you use the window lock out switch? Or is it driving you nuts from an appearance standpoint, not usability? I think all Nissan/Infiniti are like this.

i actually saw a lady come to a dealer and demand that her car was broken lights werent lighting up in the car and all. she had purchased the car a week earlier. she was complaining about that light. service manager said "maam, these switches dont light up" with her pretty FOB accent she drove off.

I'm glad this was brought up because I thought mine was busted. I was going to bring it up next time I went to the dealer.

Those do not bother me, Now the Cruise control................. That bothers the hell out of me. Also the sunroof controls would be nice. but they are minor compared to the CC ones.

All steering wheel controls, including cruise control, were illuminated for 2005 MY.

Anybody know if there's a retrofit DIY out there on converting the 03s and 04s to be illuminated? That sounds like a really worthwhile upgrade...

What I don't like is that the Navi buttons all light up when the screen is down. I think they should only be on when in use.
