It cost me about $600, but I had them add the dual exhaust at the same time. They said it was really tough because there isn't a lot of room to get to the bolts.

I just got Forced Fed headers installed last (might be easier to install than the DCs). It took about 4 hours and cost around $300. The shop I took them to had done installs on G's and Z's before, so that previous experience may have helped reduce install time. $300-400 should be a resonable price.

My shop is very fair in my opinion. they did my intake and exhaust for 80 bux./. they said they would install my tokico shocks and my dc heads for 400 bux. sounds pretty good to me.

Do you have stock exhaust with your headers?? I was looking at installing headers and hi-flow cats and leave the rest of exhaust stock.

All I am looking for is a deeper and throater exhaust note. Would this combination get me what I am looking for?

Can someone also post a sound clip.

I wanted to get the sound of the coupe's exhaust on my seden. With headers, y-pipe, and coupe mid-pipe, it's pretty close. The mid-pipe created the initial coupe tone, but not as agressive sounding. The headers gave it a slightly more agressive tone and a little more sound volume. I don't think the y-pipe did much as far as tone or increased sound levels.

Sorry, no sound clips. I'll get a video of my car on the dyno this weekend. Maybe that will give you an idea.

i had maximumtuning.net install for $350. it is a big job but make sure the gaskets are lined up perfectly so you won't have any long term issues.
