Welding in resonator would help. Magnaflow makes long small diameter SS mufflers. It will not obstruct flow and only 4" in diameter. It is also less costly and time consuming solution than stripping interior and putting Dynomat on the floor/trunk.

Hey MikeyMike - Are you talking right up in the wells above the rubber? Does this Dyna mat and/or Brown Bread stuff really work? I'm thinking about it lately as my exhaust noise in car can be annoying at times. Thanks man.
