lol, she thinks the sedan exhaust is loud??? tell her to go get a hybrid civic or camry if she doesnt want loud. THere's really nothing you can do to make the sedan any quieter than it all ready is.

Probably should have bought a lexus.

You might want to dynamat the trunk, that helps a lot with sound reduction. Also dynamatting the floor and under the wheel wells.

like mikeymike said you could dynamat the floor and trunk, that would help alot, but that takes time to rip out the whole interior to do the floor and money for the dynamat or whatever product you choose. I'd start off first with sound deadening the trunk and see how that works for her.

What year Sedan does she have? Would it help to put on an stock 03-04 sedan mid pipe? From what I understand, the 05+ mid pipes are a little louder/free-er flowing for more performance.

You could probably find one for dirt cheap (I through mine away when I installed the coupe middy).

Go to the muffler shop and talke to them. They will add some other type of resonators and probably change the muffler.

If she has a 2005+, just get her a Mid pipe from a 2003 and swap them, this will make the exhaust quieter. Find some1 locally and tell them they can have the pipe for free if they do the swap for you.

If it is an 05' or newer sedan, she can get a midpipe off an 03' or 04' sedan the midpipe resinators is alot bigger in those years and more quiet.

that's counterproductive, if you're going to add weight, dynamat instead

Get her to drive a sedan with the stillen dual exhaust for a couple of days. After that, she'll think she can't hear the stock exhaust anymore.
