If you think that's true, I want you to drive from San Antonio to El Paso.

LOL I think 90 is too slow for Texas. That is why they just upped the speed limit again from 70 or 75 to 80 mph now.

We went 110mph~ in my Titan when we went to NM.

+ 1! I lived in SA for 10 years and my in-laws are in El Paso, needless to say I am way too familiar with this beat down of a drive.

Well average was 13-14mpg going a average of 90mph the whole way. We did a few 120 mph runs as well and the Titan still had more left.

Speeding in remote areas of Texas or Montana is one thing, lots of wide open road begging to be scorched and no traffic. Setting the cruise control at 90 in a populated area is another. Sure I hit 90 or 100 and drop back to 75-80 when I pass a short line of cars every now and again on stretches of I-5, but using the cruise at 90+ is something I never even thought of doing based upon the whole premise of the car being an extension of the driver especially where instant reaction or input could be needed at anytime. It just introduces a small loss of control/increased reaction time for driver input. I could be way off here (silent pause), no I'm not.

People are acting like he went in the back seat to take a nap. It's cruise control, for cryin' out loud.

I set my CC on my G from ATL to PHX several times at 90+ (I think mine would hold upper limit at 95)... I-10, Wide-open roads, no cars in sight. Same with returning from SoCal this past weekend.

Remember, some of us are still not convinced that the G Coupe seat design was all that brilliant - My hip kills me after 2 hours in the seat, so CC is nice to shift weight off that leg.
