G35 AWD....

Does anyone think the sedan will look any different than the current model?

Re: G35 AWD....

I just ordered one for Dec. delivery and it should look exactly the same, with the exception of some sort of AWD badging.

Re: G35 AWD....

no
it looks different...
it got this X badge behind the G35

anywayz.... i'll see how big the price difference is for the trade. cuz if around 3000 -4000 i'm going to do the trade. cuz thats pretty much the price of a set of rims + tires.

and i gotta see how much improvment it have made and see if all my parts fits (which most likely does)

looks like i'll finally get navi this time!

Re: G35 AWD....

I am glad that they are coming out with G35 AWD that way all the Audi and BMW owners can shut the hell up about how AWD makes their car so great. Most likely I will buy another G35 in 2005 for myself and give mine to my mom or maybe buy her a G35 AWD (hey she paid for both my undergrad and grad school).

Re: G35 AWD....

a couple of questions:
Last I'd heard AWD is available with the auto only. Is that right?

What kind of price are they asking for the AWD vs. standard RWD?

Re: G35 AWD....

Apparently, the current AWD setup won't fit with the 6MT. The list for the AWD is $1800 (probably about 91% of that on invoice).

Re: G35 AWD....

Anyone see additional weight for this option? Looks impressive how they can shift torque and HP to mostly the rear wheels to preserve the good RWD feel, and I'd love this option for the snowy hills by me, but don't want to give up any performance because of extra drivetrain inefficiences/drag along with extra weight. They would need to bump the torque at least 20 to make this an option for me. Plus, they will not offer with manual trans.
