Eibach Pro-kits from a coupe

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but how much of a drop will Pro-kits for the coupe be on a sedan. It's 1.1 for the coupe, will it be the same for the sedan, and are there any setback with putting coupe springs on a sedan? Inquiring because I have an offer for used coupe ones.

If you do a search you will find that on average any springs that are made for coupes add and extra .5 inches to the drop, 1.0 inch for springs made for the Z.

Example.

The eibachs drop the coupe 1.1 inches...on the sedan you will see about 1.6 inch drop. That's pretty low and might requrie aftermarket parts to get your alignment back in to optimal settings.

Just my .02

Thanks. I guess I can't go with that since it will be too low with 20s.

The Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs drops the Sedan 1.1 inches in both the front and rear. As for the Coupe, it drops it 1.1 inches in the front and 1.0 inches in the rear.

Yea i know the specs, but I was wondering how much it would drop the sedan if I installed the coupe Pro-kits instead. I have an opportunity to buy used coupe pro-kits, but was wondering if it would drop my sedan more.

If you get the pro kit for whatever application you will need a camber kit in order to align to factory specs or you will have wear on the inside of your tires. (about $700 for kinetix camber kit) There is no camber adjustment for our cars...
Better off going with 0.5 drop

If you're going to drop, you might as well do it properly. Don't waste the cash for a drop if you will only get 1/2 an inch. If you want to drop, go for a drop that will be noticeable in both looks and handling and pay the bucks to do the job right.

Or not... Just my opinion.

That is a perfectly legit reason not to do it - 100% savings . Wait till you are ready to pay for the whole job. Get a K&N filter if you just want to do a quick cheap mod.

After installing the springs and doing an allignment, the dealer told me he could not adjust the camber to make up for the drop. That is why I have ordered the complete Kinetix kit. There is another thread where another sedan owner posted "before" and "after" pics when he got his camber kit. The issue isn't severe, but it will trash your tires in six months. If you would burn through the tires in six months anyway, skip the camber adjustment. If you want to get one or two years out of your tires, it would be worth doing.

It will be a 1.6 drop and if ur okay with about -1.8 rear camber and -1.2 in the front, u shouldn't worry about buying camber kits.

This topic has been debatable for some... The performance shop that installed my pro kit said I didn't need a camber kit, they even called a tech guy at eibach to make me feel better. After the install I brought the car to a reputable alignment shop. He said I don't have a choice I NEED A CAMBER KIT. I have toyo tires and I don't want to buy new tires prematurely if I can help it. Now can I drive the car and take corners at high speed... HELL YEAH. Is it worth risking my tires... not to me.
Do what you want, but I wish I knew this before... Ok Ok I still would have done it!

Hey dude you are correct...When I put the coupe springs on my car it dropped 1.6 in the front and about 1.4 in the rear...The ride is nice and I could possibly use a camber kit, but i've been running this set-up for like 2 1/2months now and the camber wear isn't that bad. The only reason i haven't get the camber kit yet is that i'm waiting for my KW Coilovers... Here is what the car looks like..

This is what the rear camber looks like....
