For all you "luxury guys" - does Audi, Lexus, Mercedes or BMW have that gaudy **** on their cars?

I'm very anxious to see what the final product looks like. If the window trim is toned down (like most other "luxury sport cars") I'll know it's not just me that thinks the current version isn't right. If not - I'll know the car is not for me.

That's all - ta ta, bye bye.
No chrome here huh?
3Series A4

And, when I was out today, I saw a new IS350, and it has chrome around the door trim as well, it is narrower, but still has the chrome

+1 Shane! Someone made a comment a while back about the chrome handles looking like a Buick, LOL, I have yet to see a Buick with chrome handles.

Yeah, it is all personal preference but I really like the chrome accents. Oh well Tom, as long as we like it!

Chrome door handles and grill? The Acura TL had that since '99 and the intro to the 2nd gen TL. I think it looks nice (in subtle amounts, not like the new Jetta!) but I suppose 'bling' isn't for everyone.

Man, that chrome on the front of the Jetta looks like a '59 Cadillac, that's a lot of chrome.

my clk has chrome on the door handles, as well as the windows.
some bmws come standard with the chrome around the windows but when the sport package is opted they replace it with black "shadow" trim

(not my car just any clk was shown for comparison)
