Forgive me, as I know this information is on this site somewhere, but I have searched high an low and can't find it. What does the "Journey" package add to the car? If I recall, it is the premium package plus power passenger seat and homelink? Anything else? THANKS!

The "Journey" is a model, not a package. The 2007 Infiniti G35 comes in five models: G35, G35 Journey, G35x AWD, G35 Sport, and G35 Sport 6MT. The 2007 Infiniti G35 Journey has everything the 2007 Infiniti G35 has plus: 4-way power passenger’s seat, 6-speaker audio system with RDS and in-dash 6-disc changer with mp3 playback capability, and Dual Zone Air conditioning w/ automatic temperature control. Plus, the Premium Package, Technology Package, Performance Tire and Wheel Package, wood trim, sunroof, Navigation Package, and Sirius or XM Satellite Radio is optional with the 2007 Infiniti G35 Journey and not available for the 2007 Infiniti G35.

Basically, the 2007 Infiniti G35 should have only came in four models IMO: G35 Journey, G35x AWD, G35 Sport, and G35 Sport 6MT.

journey is for rwd models... AWD will probably have journey as standard equipment-- just like the M-series vehicles

So, based on the statement below, the only way to get any of these options is to get the Journey model?? So, the G35 car is what, just the base model?

The G35 Journey doesn't exist up here in Canada. We just have the G35, G35x, G35 Sport 5AT, and G35 Sport 6MT.

The Journey model exists only to allow Infiniti to market a relatively low "starting at: XXXXXX $" price. That way they can sucker more people into the dealers only to realize that all the options they want will only be available for a great deal more. Just like the original base G35 with cloth seats (around $27,900), only a few will likely be built, with the vast majority being Journey's and other models.

^Speaking of which, has anyone ever seen a G35 with cloth seats? I have never seen one around here.

I have never seen a G with cloth seats. They are not even available in Canada on the 07s. Leather seating is standard.

I think that disappeared after the '04 model, when I bought my '04, it was still available, like was said, one way to keep the starting price lower, but I doubt many were built.
