Sorry for being off topic, but what is the name of the color of the car pictured here, thank you.

 

Think that color is called "Lakeshore Slate" It's the lighter blue, and "Blue Slate" is the Darker Blue.

Infiniti G35's power, performance leaves the 'upscale Nissan' label in the dust

Five years ago, if someone asked for a description of Infiniti, the response was "upscale Nissan." There wasn't much to say beyond that.

Then came the G35 in sedan and coupe form, and suddenly there was a lot more to discuss. The Asian automaker has produced a pair of cars to compete head to head in sport appeal with Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. And in doing so, it has left Lexus, Toyota's upscale branch, to drivers I'll call "mature and studious."

Hey I didn't know I was that famous. They even named a site after me.
Although I don't agree with some of things that were said about the car.
" The new curvy bodywork eschews aggression for sophistication, and to these eyes it seems a tad soft looking considering the car's mission. While the BMW 3 and Lexus IS sit on the road with a wedgy and purposeful stance, the G35 lacks a certain toughness, especially in the rear haunches. It had me stifling a yawn every time I looked at it."

Are you kidding me! That is a very fine looking rear end, even my wife told me that....about the car

Consumers Most Wanted - 2007:

Last year's runner-up in this category moved up to 1st place. With a commanding 25 percent of the votes, the Cadillac CTS topped all other entry-level luxury sedans in the field, including last year's winner, the BMW 3 Series, which came in at 18 percent for 2nd place. This was a dramatic change of fortune for the CTS, which earned just 15 percent a year ago. Perhaps consumers had the stout CTS-V or the stunning, redesigned '08 CTS in mind when they cast their votes. Either way, a Cadillac edging out a BMW in any popularity contest is noteworthy. Infiniti's G35 was a close 3rd in this category with 17 percent, but after that there was a significant drop-off. Following in order were the Acura TL (10 percent), the Audi A4 family (8 percent) and the Lexus IS 250/350 (7 percent). The fact that such impressive sedans as the TL and A4 were mere midpack contenders gives some indication as to just how competitive this popular segment has become. Next in line were the Lexus ES 350 (4 percent), Toyota Avalon (4 percent), Saab 9-5 (3 percent) and Volvo S60 (2 percent). Rounding out the bottom were the aged Jaguar X-Type and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which couldn't manage more than 1 percent apiece.
