Problem is you have to show proof of mileage - yes some can be ambiguous but some has to be legit. Another problem, as in the U.S., "Home Business" line-item expenses automatically red-flags you for an audit. Not to say you will, but you are more likely to be audited making these kind of deductions than not.

So, working virtual may not work in this case, but a good idea nonetheless.
