exhausts!

i was just thinking if there are any exhausts out for the 07 g35 yet?

and is it possible to put a switch in the exhaust so that you can choose to bypass the mufflers whenever you want? for noisy mode?

and how would the g sound with straight pipes with cats removed or cats intact?with opened mufflers with straight pipes? i know the g is still new but how would that straaight pipe combination sound on the old g? it should be better sounding in the new g right? any examples e.g. videos?

it would be good if it is ferrari/lamborghini non japanese sounding!and loud as hell like a lambo or ferrari!

I think any discussion about exhaust is just a little premature.....

Probably...but many aftermarket companies receive specs on these cars well in advance of the launch date. I'd say by next spring you'll see a couple of companies out with new systems for the 07

yes i think so too, but i would just like to ask this, can a full system be made ,where you can switch it from a system with resonators and mufflers to a system with no mufflers and resonators? which means its like having 2 systems joined in one? is it possible?and of course fabricate a valve where while on the "quiet(resonated mode, muffled)",above say 4k rpm the valve will open into the noisy(non-resonated,not muffled)"mode..

and when you are in the noisy mode it'll just stay there, which means you can have 2-3 or more different modes in the system..

1st mode(quiet) - resonated and muffled remain as that through the entire rev band

2nd mode(mid) - resonated and muffled, valve opens above 3.5k - 4k rpms and goes into noisy mode above the stated rpm.

3rd mode(noisy) - non-resonated and not muffled through the entire rev band.

can a system like ths be done? how much woul the price roughly cost?maybe custom fabricated?

If that's our think.... sure, but it'll be a custom system.
Valves & Y off pieces get added between muffs

but if i were to make a system like that, how many different switches and valves can i place? as many as i want for all different modes? like mode 1 quiet, mode 2 resonators open, mode 3 mufflers open, mode 4 all open?
or i can only put 1 switch to make it bypass everything or stay on stock mode and open up only above a certain rpms.

Somebody has already done that here. Search for "Have I gone too far?"

Right next to said exhaust switch there should also be a switch to dispense beer from chilled keg that is installed in trunk.
