I should have known you were joking about Canadian cаrs being diverted to the U.S. Conspiracy theories are not the Canadian stylе.

My dealer told me the same thing this after noon when I went in for my test drive. Unfortunately we have read the threads on here about dealers and their flexible ethics, so who really knows what's going on?

**I am actually very happy that I didn't have my G yet when I woke up this morning. I am temporarly drivinga plymoth neon and I woke up to find that it had been walked on and my driver's side mirror was smashed off. Could have been worse, it could have been my baby!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Was it a random act of vandalism?

Hopefully we will hear some concrete information soon about what is going on. Sorry to hear about your car, but like you said, at least it wasn't your G. That will be a big step up for you going from a Neon to a G.

I'm sure you will once they can get an ETA for arrival at LA and then time for train transport north and then east.

Look on the bright side. If you're trading in a car, your trade in value is locked but you're still depreciating the asset at the dealer's cost.

I don't know if that's the case, unless there's a short time to wait, I had ordered a car once, took 4 months to get it, and they wanted to adjust my trade value since another quarter had passed.

Makes sense. It's a business deal and the dealers aren't in it to lose money on stuff they can't control either.

In canuck's case don't think he's trading either.

I agree it is a big step! I had a nice civic si coupe, but it had numerous transmission problems so I sold it and in a crazed rush I bought the neon. I was intending to drive it for the winter while I looked for a car (I needed something to get to work). That was 3 years ago, I'm not sure how that hapened but the money I saved is buying the G!

I need my G, before my building operator notices the oil spot on my underground parking space at the office!

It looks like it was just a random act, but who knows maybe I cut someone off and didn't even notice. Maybe someone was getting even?!

I am going from an 03 G and I think I will see a big step up, so I can only imagine how ecstatic you are going to be. Let me know if you here any news regarding our shipment.

Shane:

Have you or anyone else heard any updates on the cars getting through the Vancouver or LA ports yet and an ETA?
