I would suspect that most of the dealers that are getting their cars trucked out of the auto port right now will either be the local Vancouver dealers where the cost will be very little or dealers getting the higher end cars for their clients like the Lexus LS460, Q45 etc. where the margins are higher and the clients expect the cars in a timely fashion. I had to pay for shipping to get my wifes Toyota Sienna shipped from Calgary to toronto since the dealer there had the only color and option package my wife wanted or we had to wait 8 weeks for a new order from Japan. That shipment by truck costed me $875.

Arun..

If you are all getting as impatient as I am, you can call the port's auto terminal at 604-528-8259 for updates. Maybe if we flood them with calls we will find our answers a little quicker

Arun..
Arun, mine has already been re-routed to LA and is going to be sent to Vancouver. The only thing my salesman wasn't sure of is whether it will be sent to Vancouver by rail or by sent back up by boat. For people that have had their G's waiting in Vancouver, they are laughing now. Good to see everything finally moving.

Either way, I would guess that I am probably a good 3 weeks away from delivery. Ah heck, it's been almost four months now so what's another 3 weeks?

True enough Ian.....6 months will definitely be a lengthy wait. Is the Detroit autoshow the first show of 07? I wonder if the 08 Coupe will be unveiled there?

I think it would have been Detroit for sure, with Apr release;
But now that it's Aug realease it may be in NYC (apr) same as the sedan.

Yeah, it'll be here soon enough Elaine. I've waited this long, so another couple of weeks will be a walk in the park.
