I think its crazy that Infiniti can a better looking package w/ more technology and similar performance compared to the 3 series for a greater value. I'm sorry, but I'd rather buy a fantastic car and still pocket thousands. The BMW name means nothing to me. It does not mean superior.
I agree and that review really makes me sick, too. There are lots of reasons why many like me prefer the G35 to the BMW irrespective of price. The lower price is just icing on the cake. The BMW 3-series is too small for a 4 door sedan (not to mention overpriced-need to get a 5-series for the same size-even more overpriced and the styling gets worse) albeit OK as a coupe, I don't like the interior nearly as well, "I-Drive" is horrible, they charge extra for metallic paint? - come on thats an insult, it comes standard on a Chevy or anything else you want to name, extra for leather upholstery on a 40K+ car?! Ok for me whats the advantage of a BMW? maybe slightly better "handling"? (whatever that may mean) that I can't use anyway. Hell, I plan to get a G35S 6MT and change out the summer performance tires for Michelin Pilot Sports A/S for year-round drivability thereby giving up some "handling" but I'll still have plenty to spare and the car I'm sure will still feel a lot better than the BMW with its soggy runflat tires. Oh, and the G35 just looks better - but that's just my opinion. I could list even more reasons.

actually the BMW back seat was quite adequate once you got in- more so than the G Coupe, and the fold down seatback made it potentially useful.

I can't knock it at all, just went for value and room in the G

My favorite line:

Once underway, the G35 is the Muhammad Ali of sports sedans.
