Ok so i tested my 06. If I am in 5th in MM mode, as I slow down the display will go to 4th, then 3rd and then directly to 1st. The reason i said 5>4>3>2>1 is cuz I was thinking of the actual gears not the display. I DOUBT the tranny has the capability to skip a gear and go directly to 1st from 3rd like the new MB 7 speeds etc, but who knows! Similarly for the 03 when I said that it only drops to 1st when you get to dead stop I mean the actual gear not the display, but I didnt know the display still showed the highest gear you were in..hmm.
