Not really sure, I've often wondered that myself. I went from an 03 Altima to my 03 G35 and the G was missing some features that my Alty had.

Probably because the Max is Nissan's flagship sedan whereas the G35 is the entry level sedan for Infiniti.

Still...I would think the entry level luxury sedan would contain all of the features from the parent companies flagship plus some. But...I guess this is one way for Nissan to keep the price down on the G35. Not that I'm complaning. The G35 has more tech that both the 3 series and IS.
