Still don't get the idea of putting surposely "audiophile" quality stereo on a sport sedan like G35.

Lexus LS's ML system works so well largely due to its exceptionally quiet cabin. I wouldn't consider G35's cabin as quiet, and even if it is, it defeats whole the purpose of being a sport sedan that "should" allow proper engine and exhaust sound to be heard.

If the G35's Bose system can only be truly appreciated in a quiet and non-running condition, then what's the point of having it? This is reason why I won't pay extra for Bose. To me at least, the stock will do fine.

And this might be my own driving habit but I would consider too much good music to be a distraction to my driving.

Just my opinion...

MB, stock. More like the car I drove when I was back home than "mine" : )

Worked very, very well for a SUV that had a ridiculous amount of road noise.

Thumbs up Bose is the real deal!

But if you like good sounding music then this system has it. Cranked up there is very little if any distortion. I really like it. As good as most anything I've heard out there.

At a show I listen to the M35 system with it's surround sound and believe this system to be better then the G.

Also remember you are paying $2350 for the Prem package that gets you this radio upgrade. But for the $2350 you are also getting sunroof, heated seats, power seats, bluetooth and more. So how much are you really paying for the radio. In some models you pay $2500 just for the radio upgrade alone.

I like it a lot.
+1.

But I should add that the system DOES rock your windows/mirrors/doors/soul...

Hey Kevin... how does the Logic7 compare?
LOL... in all my test drives, I've never turned the radio on.

Maybe the Treble and bass were not adjusted correctly in the setting of the radio

Don't worry about. Everyone's ears hear different things. Sound is as subjective as the exterior design of a car. I think it is a given that some people will dislike the sound of the Studio on Wheels, while others will simply love it.

Hahaha, so true.......me being one of those peeps. The Bose in my 03 certainly doesn't sound like my home theatre but I have been satisfied with it nonetheless. If the 03 Bose satisfies me, I probably won't have to worry about the new one.

This is VERY true. I expected to hear a mirror shaking yet accurate system.. what I heard was just an accurate reproduction of music. I didn't hear a buzz or a hiss from mediocre recorded music.. The bass was tight but didn't make my chest vibrate.

Overall i would say you are getting a good deal on this system considering the price of the premuim package but don't expect it to compare to a Focal system.
