Yet another proud owner -- Got my Blue Slate G35 6MT!

A few comments:

1) Miles on car at delivery: 12
2) No car washing by request so I can wax it this weekend.
3) The shifter vibrates like crazy when drive. Anyone experiencing this?
4) The arm rest compartment and cup holds are a JOKE! I'm a big fan of the arm rest glove compartment.
5) The shifting is sticking (definitely sporty), but still not a short throw like the current coupes. Very fun never.theless
6) Was told to not go past 4000rpms for the first 1,200mi.
7) I love how when the nav lady talks, the music plays only from the rear.
8) The dealer helped me disable the horn when you press LOCK on the key fob. He also disabled the chirps that sound when you press the button on the door handles. I like my lock/unlock stealth.
9) How do you turn off the two LED ambient lights by the sunroof button? It's a nice touch, but I may not want it on all the time.

More later... I'm pooped from a long day. Time to take a nap in my G35.

Congrats man, very nice car. I drove the new one and it is much faster than the first-gen model. Nice color choices and the dash and especially the clock looks nice!! No more orange everywhere hahaha , not that orange is a bad thing!

Thanks for showing the 6MT console compartments open and closed, not to mention the handbrаke. Considering that my nearest deаler tried to tell me that 6MTs wouldn't arrive in California until December, I can't even guess when I'll have a chance to see a 6MT in person without drivіng a long ways.

Do you have rear compartment air vents? There was an early rumor that the 6MT wouldn't have them.

I'll try to remember tomorrow night (as I'm already in my PJs already, and it's getting cold outside...haha).

Just discovered two free infiniti emblem keychains included in the owner's manual leather zipper case. I love surprises!

Gongratz Goofy.... beautiful.

I'd love to hear more about the 6MT once it's broken in a little.
Synchros are suposed to be improved....

Also how does the clutch compare?
- pedal effort changed +- ??
- Is the engagement still up high?
- any change to linearity of engagement (grabby/smooth)

LOL... sorry for all the ??
I'm anxious to try the MT myself

NICE! My favorite color. Congrats!

Are you saying those ambient lights (kind'a reminds me of the reading lights on a plane) are always on?

I know in other cars they are...... & it's no problem.
They are usually barely noticable.

At night they reflect on your hand a bit as you reach for a button.
In the day time they're totally washed out anyway.
