Called today and the shop said the pattern is not out yet for the 07 G35 Sedan. How long does it usually take for the pattern to be available?

 

Probably just a demand thing, as more cars are out there it should be available. Why not call a shop that's on the 3M site, they would know best....

The dealer I had mine applied by doesn't use a "pattern", they fit it to the individual car, using one large piece of protection film, the only ones I've seen that look like a pattern, have notches and bend areas cut out of them.

My sport was done at the dealer with 3M. No pattern. It was close but I'm not totally happy with it on a few areas so the dealer said they would redo it. There was a couple of places where the gap was about an 1/2" and one bubble.

 

The shop in Calgary that will be doing mine shows that the kit is available for the 07 G. In fact they show 3 kits base, sport and x. He's an awesome installer but he still prefers to use the kits, if he has to do a custom job he has to cut it right on the paint

X-Pel has the template and it says they use the 3M film...

I am expecting my 07 G35 Sport to arrive in the next couple of weeks and my Chicagoland dealer confirmed that 3M does have a template for the clear bra.
