braking: sport vs non-sport

cross-drilled rotors, if not done well (like porsche does, for example) can be a source of crack propagation.
I prefer slotted, if you're going to go with any rotor modification at all (i don't care anymore and just stay stock as the benefits are minimal while pad wear and noise increases). cryo treated rotors are nice too if you want warpage resistance.

id not get slotted due to stress risers. same for most drilled rotors unless they are cast into the disc at mold time. far better to get a better vane design and keep the weight for thermal load. air ducting to the assembly is also a great idea. course this is normally for the track. but i leave near hills with awsome curves. eating up pads and rotors live they are free. also most rotors dont warp if torqued down properly. pad material is deposited on the surface with a hot stop. this creates a tight spot causing the pulsations. this leads to higher localized temps and more material deposistion. if the enrite rotor is heated high enough most of that "warpped" sensation will go away.
