I believe Infiniti said 2 golf bags would fit. I also remember seeing an instruction booklet showing you the exact steps to fit 2 golf bags, yes, you need instructions to put golf bags into your trunk. That's probably how hard it's going to be! I had trouble just fitting 2 drivers into the back, so I would assume putting 2 golf bags into the trunk is as easy as pulling out and re-inserting the engine oil dip stick.

My Taylormade R5 fits, but I have to take it out of the bag and put it in seperately. I couldn't imagine fitting two bags and two drivers in there without damaging anything.

I'm very curious about this as well..

I just barely get 2 golf bags in to my TL. But when I get my G, I'm afraid it won't be so easy. I wouldn't mind if I had to take out the drivers and put them in separately as long as they do all go in. It would be a shame if the G couldn't handle at least 2 bags.

I someone could post a pic of the instructions on putting the golf bags in, I would greatly appreciate it.

You can always make it easier and push back your back seats.

My 07 hasn't arrived yet, so I can only speak for my 03. Having said that, I can fit 4 bags in the trunk of my 03. As an avid golfer, I play a fair amount of golf courses outside of where I live and have taken myself and 3 passenger's and their golf bags and shoes without problems. Like others have mentioned, I too take out the drivers and put them in the trunk separately. Even with the CD Changer in the trunk, I would say worse case scenario is fitting 3 bags....afterall the trunk in the 07 is virtually the same size as the 1st generation G.

You mean, fold the backseats down? The backseats in the new G35 do not fold down. Sad.

Shane actually if you go: to http://www.infinitinews.com/index.html (You can compare 04, 05, 06, and 07 trunk capacities), You will see the trunk space is 1.3 cubic feet smaller on the 07 with the temporary spare, and that is not counting the cd changer in the trunk.
That translates to 1 less piece of carry on luggage my other half can bring when we go on a trip .

Oh thanks Wayne. It was my understanding that the trunk on the 07 was only .8 cu/ft smaller.

Man, that sucks. It's a pretty good sized car. But I guess it's not a Towncar. I will survive.

I dont see how 2 golf bags cannot fit into a trunk with 13.5 feet of space. My WRX has 11 feet and I fit 2 golf bags with no problems.

It is not as wide as the 04-06. It appears to be as deep, but nowhere near as wide. I was upset they wanted me to pay $50 for a cargo net on $40k car, so I tried to move mine from my '04. Not even close! It was like a foot or so shorter than my old cargo net.
