VPP now available?

My local dealer just called and said VPP was now available on the 2007 G35. Too late for me since i already purchased one. However, the website still states it is not available:

Welcome to the Nissan/Infiniti Vehicle Purchase Program Web Site.

Thanks to suppliers like you, the products of Nissan North America, Inc. and its affiliate companies have become a powerful force in today's competitive marketplace. Because we appreciate your contribution as an employee of one of our valued business partners, we are pleased to offer you the benefits of our Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP).

Note: To participate in this program you must reside in the continental United States, Alaska or Hawaii. Dealerships in Puerto Rico do not participate in the VPP.

Also, the dealer may use the paycheck stub to verify the current employment to a qualified business associate company.

THE 2007 INFINITI G35 IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH THE VPP PROGRAM AT THIS TIME.

Conflicting info on the VPP??!!

So what is the real story? Can one dealer take VPP orders without it being officially sanctioned by Nissan? Calling the VPP 800 # I was told that the 07 G35 isn't in the program at this time...

I'm confused??!!

Hmmm... we need some more dealers to chime in here, (or more people to call their dealers and ask). I called the VPP number and asked if the '07 G35 was eligible, and they said they didn't have that info, it was on the website.

So... more data points needed. It would be pretty nice if it was included.

What type of verification do they do? I typed in my company name into the claim and a subdivision of our company popped up, but not the main bussiness. Since I'm not 100% sure that I qualify, will they do any verification after I make the sale with the dealer? Thanks.

I just put in my claim and I qualify for D plan. What the heck is D plan???

Did you find a dealer saying the '07 G35 was available through VPP?

I think you have to show a pay stub or business card or something. I'm not sure they do any verification beyond the dealer looking at those.

I just called VPP and the 07 is now available for Plans A-C, which are for direct nissan employees. Plan D, for bussiness associates (ME!) is not available yet
