does 07 feel alot faster???

2007- 0 to 60 5.2 sec
2003-2006- 0 to 60 6 sec

Does the 2007 feel that much faster?

It should... but does it?

2007 owners please chime in.

Thanks

Used to my FX35, tested G35S, and just about gave myself whiplash.

Whew! 5.2 0-60. I didn't realize it was that quick. I already got immune to the power

I remember a review, possibly from car and driver, and it says how the 07 sedan could possibly be faster after it the engine is broken in? anyone confirm this? =o

I remember, they said their test car had fewer then 250 miles on it. "That's like putting an Olympic sprinter in the starting blocks in his street clothes."

Trust us, between the '03 and the '07 they are 2 different cars. Both very good in themselfs but very different cars.

I don't mean to rain on everyone's parade but...was not the 5.2 sec 0-60 time for the 6MT? Most reviewers of the G35S 5AT received a 5.6-5.7 sec time. So it technically doesn't make the new G that much faster than the 1st gen...right? About .3 secs. It does feeling plenty faster though.

Storm down if you like, I'll take a .3 sec difference for an AT! I'm past the 0-60 bragging rights age but I sure appreciate the merging power during my commute

no comparison

the reason it feels so much faster is caus it is:
- the AT is geared lower in 1st and 2nd; the rear axel ratio is lower, the engine is more flexible with the red line higher.

it was way faster on day one than my 02 and keeps getting more faster (nearing 1900 miles)

this thing is a beast
