The lighter you travel, the better the performance!

My only complaints are to do with storage space. THere is virtually none in the interior glove boxes, and the trunk is going to be a problem for me. Today I had my snows installed and I brought the stock 17's home in tire bags. Well, I had to put 2 on the back seat, but I could barely put 2 in the trunk because of the trunk CD changer. I had to force the 2nd tire in past the changer. If they were mounted on rims I don't think I could have got the second one in .
I guess we will travel light with this ride .
Wayne, I am considering doing what Ian mentioned awhile ago. I think I may look at removing the CD Changer and purchasing a trunk liner that doesn't have the CD Changer. I can't see me EVER using the trunk mounted changer. This won't be until the spring, but I am seriously considering it.

It would make it easier Shane. Definitely something to consider.
I also went out and purchased a small Rubbermaid container with a lid for the trunk to carry things that I normally keep in the glove boxes (tire pressure guage, manuals, etc).

Funny just did the same thing with my snows. I put 2 in the back seat and 2 in the trunk. When I came home they were now mounted so again put 2 in the back seat and 2 in the trunk. Getting that 2nd tire in the trunk that was now mounted on a wheel was fun but I got it in. My '03 had a much bigger trunk.

So what you are saying is that at every stop light or stop sign I should floor it when I take off. Ok works for me.

Looks like I might have to take my car in, since I'm fairly certain that the "back" button on my steering wheel doesnt work. When I got the car and it did nothing, I just assumed I wasnt using it somewhere where it should. But I've been on almost every menu in the system and the button does nothing (the one next to the controller works fine).

Can someone with a Navi that has the button give me an example of a screen where you can use it so I can test it out tonight to be certain that it's not working? Thanks.

The back button on my steering wheel works just like the one on the controller, it should work anywhere that the other back button works.

I also can't delete songs while moving (It would be nice to hear a song on the music box, decided I don't like it and remove it right there, instead of remembering what I didn't like and deleting it later).
Are these limitations just while the car is moving? Can you use the center **** by the screen to scroll through songs by album/artist or only the tuning ****?

Yes, these limitations are just while moving. While moving, I believe you can only use the tune **** to change artists or album (whichever was selected). While not moving you can use the center screen know or the touch screen to call up a list of artists/albums, and pick what you want to hear.

the seat heaters are no worse than my IS300s were speed and heat wise. Having two levels is really nice.

storage space is a little limited in the front. The glove compartment is absolutely tiny, and my center console is packed.

Cold idle isn't any different than on my IS either. about 2000-2500 depending on just how cold it is. I never understood why, but every car i've owned seem to idle at roughly that range cold.

Just discovered another gripe.
The car did not come with a block heater , my last 2 Nissan/Infiniti products did. I thought it was a standard thing that the Canadian cars came with . We really do need one in the Great White North, it is much easier on the car.
Maybe I just can't find it, I checked with Garnet Canuck and he has not noticed one either.
Did anyones 07 G have one ?

Wayne, I sent you a PM on this. According to the dealer sheet that was sent to me back in the summer, the 07 G (Canadian model) is supposed to come with a block heater. I am going to look a little better in the daylight tomorrow.....maybe we are just missing it.

My 07 has a block heater, it was difficult to find at first because it runs down to the centre hole in the bumper and gets tucked under the lip on the inside.
