Anybody have any trouble with the voice tags for their phonebook? Mine all disappeared the other day and I had to re record them. The numbers and names were still in the phonebook, just the tags were gone.

i think if you deleted your pair phone from the list, all the phonebook contacts are gone??

 

Are the phonebooks per paired device? I have like 4 phones paired up

 

I think you lose them if you change your guidance voice to French as well.

None of the above. No changes at all.

The tags were here one day and gone the next. The phone has been the same. Unfortunately, the process of adding the tags is a little combursome. You have to go through the phonebook and then to name and number and then the tag. I'm still building up my phonebook so it is not very large, but if half my numbers were in, I'd be pretty po'd.

 

This might have happened to me. Yesterday I was unable to dial a phone number by voice. I just say the command followed by name and nothing happened. It used to work. I didn't think anything of it because I assumed it might have been too loud in car or something.

 

I work in the industry and use a few, and have my wife's phones paired up as well... Seems like it will only talk to one at a time, hence the ability to swap the order in the list.

So far I haven't spent time to try to send contacts from the phone to the addressbook in the car, but it didn't seem to want to work with my crackberry.

 

I verified tonight that I did lose all my voice tags. This is the third time now in less than 1K miles. I thought the dealer did it the first time, but now I think it's losing memory somehow. Anyone else experience this?

 

Just lost my tags for the second time today. I bruoght it to the attention of the Service Dept. and they said they are checking further down the line. This is the first instence that they've heard of.

 

Add me to the list.........I noticed earlier today that all my voice tags are gone!

 

Mine are gone too.

Edit: They actually disappeared because I was having trouble with my phone and I had to redo the pairing. My Samsung A900 POS was replaced and I haven't had any problems since.

 

... somewhere there are voice tags... wandering around... waiting ....
