07 VW GTI with APR stage 2 software, APR 3" downpipe, and a few other minor mods. I thought the G35 would be a hair slower, but its actually a good bit faster. And the handling, oh my god it's night and day difference from a FWD suspension.

Just traded in my 2001 Toyota Camry with 149k miles for a 2008 G35S, lakeshore slate with black interior, nav and prem package with 25k miles. This week has been filled with lots of "driving meetings" at work.

I came from an 04 Coupe to an 07 Sedan. I consider it a major upgrade.

This is where I came from.

2003 Evo. It was a really fun car. The only real draw back was the amount of attention it got from the police. I guess you could say I had a standing invite with the California State Ref for modified emissions tickets.

Upgrade from a red mazdaspeed3 (with some mods) It is a very fast car, but like hksg37s is saying, I also got a lot of attention. The G is much more mature and way more luxury. I like it

G35....vs.....BMW 323 conv. 5 spd manual

after many months of deliberation I bought G35 cp 6mt.....there are several trade offs...nothing is perfect.....in my opinion the ride comfort of the BMW is unexcelled, the BMW handling characteristic is unequaled in its price range....although I had tried to purchase 330- 6 speed for many months they are hard to find and generally high mileage.. I miss the soft ride and handling of my BMW...it also would achieve 33mpg on trips 70+mph. whereby my G car averages 27. Seriously though I am having misgivings on the handling of my G.. taking it into wide sweeping turns on turnpike one generally gets the feeling that the car is not sticking to the road and the weight of the car seems to cause a feeling of alarm. I am trying different tire pressures to see if it changes...32 cold-35 hot. The thing( G35 )I like the best is its appearance. It has a no nonsense look of do not mess with me. The elec seats and heat are the best...sunroof is great...all in all I think I have made a wise choice....This IS A DRIVERS CAR.

01 G20 > 02 QX4 > 07 Camry SE (only kept for 2 months) > 05 Altima 3.5l SE-R > Current '07 G35x

Pics of the Altima, which I definitely loved for the price! I do miss the large trunk, extra cabin space, and 4-way active audio system that I spent a lot of time installing into it, but I appreciate the HP and AWD that I gained with the G35x.

My last car was a 06 Audi A6 4.2 Sportline so the move to the my current 09 G37S is a well worth it downgrade...

Hmmmm, I see an M3 badge in that picture on a car that is NOT an M3...

1. 73 Pinto (lime green, sweet ride!)
2. 79 Camaro (most smog-hampered underpowered v8 I've ever driven, handled like a wet noodle too)
3. 91 Mustang LX 5.0 (fast and badass for its day, flowmasters and headers baby!)
4. 87 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 (college car - no expenses)
5. 91 Mustang GT (missed the old one)
6. 99 Mustang GT (what can I say, I love my mustangs)
7. 02 WRX (best all around car I've owned)
7.5 96 Mustang Cobra (easily the fastest car of the lot. owned for a couple months during the WRX period)
8. 07 G35 Sedan (Most luxurious car I've owned and feels as fast as the 96 Cobra)

2008 WRX STi to an 06 G35 sport/premium

The 08 STi cracked a piston between the rings, the bad part is that this was the second STi that this has happened to me. This time I'm going for no turbo and luxury! If I break a piston on this one I know I'm doing something wrong and I should just take the bus!

Oh, and I lost 2 doors in the switch too
