Test my car with GTech today

A few minutes ago i did test my car at night. Temp was 71Deg F, low wind and the road was a little wet. The results with the VDC Off was 13.83 at 101.6 mph. For some reason I'am not getting the rpms and hp readings.

Pretty good results. Almost exactly what R&T got in their most recent test. Do you have a manual or automatic?

Good numbers.

I am sure you can get those numbers down a few tenths of a second if you go during cold temperature, low humidity, and if its on low elevation.

With more practice, I wouldnt be surpriced to see you go below 13.7 (what the "other guy" got).

Add .5 seconds at a minimum to all your times with GTech! Take it to the track and give us some "slips"! The times sound reasonable, low 14s.
Have a great day;

With corrected times, the 03-06 G is a low 14s car...but not the 07 G with the VQ35HR... it is at least a mid to high 13s car

Hi godmans:
Lots of talk about less than 14 seconds. My point was, "TAKE IT TO THE TRACK"! If this person likes to drive over 100mph on something other than a track, that's criminal! My point is throw the GTech in the garbage and if you want to "race" take it to the track.
Have a Happy and SAFE New Year!

That's a good point, WP.......Driving on our roads at that speed for any reason is way too dangerous..
Even testing is best done at the track.

I do understand that point; I was just referring to the technical side of the discussion but not whether he should do it on a public road

Happy holidays

Thanks to all

Car is 5AT and the runs were on DS, NO MANUAL SHIFT DONE.

a. I was ALONE, no one on the car (only my 190lbs).
b. EMPTY ROAD.
c. Will go to the track next week to compare.
d. Total weight on GTech was 3728lbs.

Hi Kendroz;
If you are carrying 3700 pounds, throw out the spare tire and make sure you are running with less than a 1/4 tank of gas. I am serious about throwing the GTech in the garbage, do not do another run! Thery are NOT accurate. Post your slips here and on www.dragtimes.com.
Have a SAFE New Year!

Yep Gtech is garbage. It said my friends mustang ran like a 12.4 and we knew it was nowhere near that. Took it to the track, best run ever was a 13.9. Sell it and go to the track.

They need to be calibrated at track with time slips, after that, you can use it consistantly.
