An OLED display is awesome due to it's high contrast and sunlight readability. The problem is cost and reliability. The vehicle is a harsh environment for the display, so the organic material can deteriorate quite easily. I haven't caught up in this area, so I may be proven wrong. :-P

Below is my modded gauge cluster. I cleared the yellow filter and dropped in white LEDs.

BTW, Dr. Shark's 2nd image is HIGHLY realistic. The bluish "tint" of the LCD looks black with the red/orange filter. Once cleared, it looks blue. That's the effect you see with my modification.

u can add 1st layer with the color u like then add 2nd layer with white color and make it as soft light thats all
