3D Building View

I'm still a lil confused on how to view the 3D building view on the Nav? Is the 3D view when you set up the icons and shows u a icon of a house or is it when you zoom in as close as you can and shows u a 3 dimentional view of the area? Cus i can only zoom in at 1/4 after that is says building scale not available. And does it have to be on birdsview to do so?

I dont know if thats sounds clear

3D Building view is not yet available in all areas, for now it is only in the major cities like NYC. I'm sure in future updates we will see more cities updated to include this view, but it will take time.

I use the super close up building view in San Fran all the time. While it's neat, what I like more is that ability to zoom in even closer to the streets. Because I have POIs turned on, sometimes I can't really see the map clear because of all the cute, colorful icons.

Goofy, if it's not too much bother, could you take a couple of pics of this? I don't have this available in my area and would love to see what it looks like.

POI = point of interest
it's set somewhere in the setting | navigation

Yeah, and you can select which POIs you want on and off. I only have ATMs, gas stations, and restaurants on. There's a list of 6, but I found out you can actually customize that list using their full list of categories. For example, you can have the list of 6 to include airports, etc.

Anyone can view the 3D buildings by "flying" to a city (using Bird View) that has them (such as Washington D.C.). Just zoom all they way out on your location and use the dial to move to the desired city, zoom in and fly by.

That is just too simple to work! I refuse to accept a solution that is so easy.
