Memory seats / mirrors
This is probably a stupid question, but how do you invoke the memory seats without having to lock / unlock the car? I expected to be able to press 1 or 2 and have those settings happen; but so far if my wife drives the car I have to walk out and lock then unlock it to make the settings change. That seems like a laborious process...?

Do you mean she can't press either 1 or 2 on the door panel to have the setting change? That's what my wife does.

EDIT>>> Yup, that did it - apparently just needed to press the button longer. Thanks!
Regarding programming, it's a timing thing. If you follow the instructions, I think it's the Set button that has to be held down until the 1 and 2 buttons come on? Then press one or the other, and within five seconds also press unlock on your remote. That'll both set the memory, and link it to a remote.
Check the manual though, I'm writing this from memory and may have a step backward.

how to program seats
I can't seem to program the memory seats. The manual is not very clear on if you need to hold down the "set" button while pressing the #1 or #1 position. Can someone who has successfully programmed the seat post a brief discription on how to program the seats?
