So glad I moved out of New Jersey. People do this all the time and it can get down right scary with the ice that can come off larger cars/suvs/18 wheelers. As far as the adjust the washer nozzles, its more fun to aim them so if you have a retard blasting some music insanely loud at a traffic light with their window open next to you, well you get the idea =)

You mean just jam a pin in there and adjust the angle of the sprayer? Hmmm, good idea.

My objection to the bloody ice?

It swirls your paint when it comes off! Ugh!

I just witnessed this today when a 3x3(about) sheet of ice came off a minivan in the opposite lane. This was in I-93 south of Boston. Luckly it wasn't very busy and the car around were able to dodge easily. But I can just imangine what that would be like during the morning/evening weekday commute.

I was amazed that it came off in one whole sheet like it did and flew about 15-20 ft in the air. I wonder if that can be filed under form T21171-0805 "REGISTRY OF MOTOR VEHICLES
COMPLAINT OF IMPROPER OPERATION"

If I was following and able to get the licence plate I would have filled one out. I can't wait to use this form but I never get the golden opportunities like that.

I'm a person that hates that overspray situation too. Sometimes it's improperly aimed washers and sometimes its becasue they have so much force to overcome higher speed wind velocities. At low speeds they shoot over the car and cover your bumper, hood, and windshield. I don't think that fluid does much good to your paint!

yes, I've adjusted most of the cars I've owned this way.Sometimes they might need a touch of lube to free them up first.
