Argggh! - I know it's worth the wait but.

Just venting at frustration, as of Monday I was scheduled to take delivery of the car on Wednesday 2/7. I'm all pumped up, confined on Monday 2/5. Now I couldn't sleep for the past 2 nights only to find out today the car is delayed until 2/16... not happy at all, I had a day scheduled off work, the weather was cooperating, which right there told me something wasn't quite right. So for those in the northeast, a record setting "blizzard of 07" will be devastating us on the night of 2/15, stock up on TP.

At least the salesman threw a set of all-season mats for the last minute deflation of my excitement on the phone.

Don't you wish that darn Global Warming would hurry up?? LOL.

Congrats on the mats - keep calling. By the time it gets here, you'll have window tinting and fuzzy dice for the mirror!

That sucks, it seems like alot of member's orders have been pushed back a couple of weeks. At least your port authority isn't on strike!

I had the opposite situation.. Mine was expected 2 - 3 weeks after signing... but arrived 2 days after as they diverted shipment to another dealer..

Hang in there.. It's worth the wait.. but I feel your pain.

I hope that you got the G35x, especially with the blizzard of '07 coming in! BTW, the X system handles great in the snow, yesterday we were driving out of a Tim Hortons (its a donut and coffee shop for those of you in the U.S and other places) and there was this little tiny hill to get up to get out of the parking lot. There hadn't been anyone to clear it, so there was alot of slush and snow. There was an older Dodge Ram (pre hemi era lol) 3500 duallie with a big engine, not sure which one. It was going up the hill, and just spun and spun and spun. We drove up the hill without losing so much as a hair of traction, the wheels didn't spin freely at all.

Ouch Auto Painter! looking back, the past 3 months has gone very quick! In the end it will all be worth it! I'm hoping this doesn't impact pricing since the demand is higher then supply on nearly all popular models. Don't know enough about the process... but I can never figure out why dealers insist on stocking the least sold models, and ordering more and more of them, rather then buying exactly the models have have sold in recent past or are being requested via orders... it makes no sense to have 50 G35's Journey's on the lot in Seringeti sand or black with wheat interior. you know they're not selling unless you push it below invoice. Why not order sport models and X models with most popular colors. it makes no sense that there are no cars with Tech package, you must special order or wait for one to trickle in.
