Buying a 2007 G35.....
I'm buying a 2007 G35, but I'm having a hell of a time deciding between an S or an X!?!? I'm in Cleveland, OH, so we get a ton of snow in the winter, but for some reason I'm leaning toward the S -- mainly because of the wheels and the body kit. The salesperson seems to think I'll be OK because of the traction control and the viscous thing.
So, what would you guys do? S or X?
Thanks!

Dude, I am in cleveland also and just ordered a G35 6MT at Infiniti of Bedford. I think for our area, if you are not committed to snow tires, I would get the X. Tires make a huge difference in the snow. AWD with snow tires is almost unstoppable.

I debated this as well when I purchased my G. Should I get the Sport or should I get the X for the winter? I decided on going with the Sport. For me, there were far too many things I liked about the Sport to pass it up. If you put a good set of snow tires on it, you'll be just fine. I would rather have a Sport with dedicated snow tires than an X with all seasons. Good luck.

In all seriousness, if you like what the sport has to offer, than I would think about purchasing that and budget in a good set of snows. There are plenty of guys that do that on this board. There are definitely things to like about the sport over the X. Shift paddles, front bumper (subjective), side skirts, etc.
Good luck!

If you get 3+ inches of snow frequently, then I would get AWD. Especially if you live in an area with a lot of hills.
RWD with winter tires is actually pretty good in snow. I had no problems driving in 2 inches of snow up hills.
The package that comes with sport is very appealing.
