I like it. I think it looks fi'n awsome. Probably sounds just as good, judging from previous systems for the G35.

is it still 2-1-2, hard to tell, but looks like it shares a pipe early on. do they have plans to dyno it pre/post?

As far as i know this design is very similar if not the same as the 07 coupe system. The dyno on that one was pretty impressive..

read this post about it......

http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothrea...postid=2416465

I am personally ordering one today and should have it installed about 1-2 hours after i receive it..

also you can youtube different stillen exhausts on the G35 and they sound SICK!!!!!

Still not a "TRUE" dual exhaust system. Looks to me like it uses a y pipe design instead of a traditional X. Not that it would make SIGNIFICANTLY more power.....just an observation. I'm interested to hear dyno numbers. SOMEONE GET A SOUND CLIP!!!!

Yeah, that merge collector design just looks wrong. I'm not seeing the power advantage from this at all. When it is dynoed, make sure to baseline on the same dyno. I doubt more than 2-3 HP from this, if that. Probably will sound pretty good and weigh less than OEM though.

I have the Gen 1 Stillen exhaust and it has a true X design. I don't know why they went away from this on the '07.

I have alot of confidence on our R/D team at Stillen to provide us with a great product, that not only looks good and sounds good. But performs good as well. After my convo with the guys over there they told me this thing is phenominal. Not just to tell me that from a sales guy but a tech guy talking to a tech guy.

I'm still skeptical, it looks the same as the stock. and the thread I read giving it +16HP was on a 2005 coupe and not a 2007 sedan.. I think this thing has already been maximized and the stock is pulling about as good as it's going to get. and what's the price on this $1500.

I'm leanin on the side of Ballisticus that you'll probably only get 2-3HP gain and 1-2 torque which translates to nothing for a lot of money. and at that slight gain it may come at a negative impact on the curve.

Any aftermarket "tuner" worth their salt dynos products during the dev process for gains... and especially on a finished product.

If they don't, or can't provide dyno results... they are either full of ****, or dyno'd the system and it didn't produce any measurable gains.

Since Stillen has the resources to EASILY dyno before/after a product like this, then I would assume they did and the results weren't worth mentioning. If it did make decent power, it would be posted all over the boards.

But hopefully I am wrong and they are just stupid and forgot to dyno a new product for a performance car, and the exhaust actually makes mad powa.

You'd probably get at least this with an AEM air filter, for a LOT less money!

Give them some time..this thing hasnt even been released yet, is not on their website, and as far as im concerenec isnt out of R/D yet. If you go on Stillens web site and clik on any exhaust application it tells you clearly the gains on the dyno. Stillen is a good brand people... were not talking HKS or Tanabee RICE makers. And for whoever said this thing looks like the stock one..well go ahead and take a stock one off your 2007 G na dplace it next to this badboy..and youll clearly see a difference in quality and build... i mean cmon thats why its an "AFTERMARKET PERFORMANCE MODIFICATION" and i dont know about all of you but i know mine will be way under a 1k

Well, then... I'll give them a little time... I just get tired of tuners" coming out with the next big thing, and can't even provide accurate, back-to-back dyno comparisons... I used to work in the performance industry, and used to deal with Stillen directly, so am well aware of their practices, for better or worse.
