I have a question but i did not want to start a new thread, if you open the sun roof (glass part) with the cover foward (cloth part that slides) will it pull it back for you and does it cuase problems, i did not want to try and find out it does

It will slide the sun roof shade back as well.

Yeah sorry, I should of elaborated that it only slid back.

Not sure why you would want it to...
I much prefered the glass look with the additional lighting it provided.
... I guess in more extreem climates where the solar protection isn't enough.

On my G I can count the times I had the shade part closed on one hand.

Same here. I really like the extra light.

Our southern friends may want more sun protection.

I can't imagine it being a chore for small number of times you are going to open the sunroof and then need the sunshade closed.

Here in CA in midday, when I have the shade open and the sunroof closed, sometimes I wished the glass would block more sun as it gets hot. I'm going for tint next week with Vince at Omega Tintwerks in Pleasanton, CA and I'll ask him about putting an almost clear tint that has good UV and heat resistance.
