Aluminum Pedals

Can I buy the aluminum pedals that come as part of the sport package for my X? I hate the look of the dirty rubber ones I have now. Would they just be pedal covers or a full replacement? TIA.

Places like Grubbs and EverythingG35 sells the aluminum pedal kit, but I'm honestly not sure if they will fit the 07s. You could call Grubbs and find out though. AFAIK, they are just covers that fit over the existing pedals.

I just went out and checked Christian and it looks as though they are just aluminum covers.

Yep, I would just double-check to make sure the 07s have the same size pedals.

I'm sure you can call your dealer's parts department and order them by part number. I'm don't know if there is a difference in the physical look of the pedals between the sports vs. non-sport models (other than the aluminum trim itself), but if there isn't, your local parts department should be able to order a set for you.

Uh, No?.

So these new pedals factory or aftermarket, would probably have to be screwed into place?.

If you look at the way the accelerator pivots, as it pivots, there is a smaller shape where it sits on top of (ok, that was a terrible explanation, just go look at the pedal) if the Aluminum pedals are "wrap-araound" style, they will interfere with the pedals normal function.

The brake pedal I can see there being no problems with a wrap around style clamp.
