My first ever de-badging attempt..

I thought I was too old to ever do this.. but I removed the Infiniti leters from the trunk today. It makes the trunk look so much cleaner without the large letters cluttering up the trunk lid.
The Infiniti sysmbol is good enough without having to spell it out in big letters... Much better looking without, IMHO.

Just let it sit out in the sun for awhile.. was able to just peel away the letters, then used some 3m adhesive remover for the glue that was tough to get off.. Took all of 40 minutes to do.. will have to get some pics.. someone else already posted some which is what got me started..

Looks great.
Is it possible to lower the symbol or do the 2007's still have the holes underneath?

Nope can't lower the Symbol, it has holes under it, plus i think it looks good where it's at, I seen a photoshoped Pic of it down lower in the middle, and it just looked out of place there I like it high in the center, sord of a symbol of what lies beneath! lol

Makes it look cheaper and naked to me. Like someone repainted an older car.

Are you sure it looks clean now? What's that on the lower right?

That's a 1hp gain box. You stick it anywhere you want and it adds 1hp.

i just debadged mine yesterday. i put it in the sun, and peeled them off with my drivers license. used wd-40 to get rid of the residue, worked great!

as for the infiniti badge, i originally thought i would leave it, but i agree with 6mtzer, it just looked too high once all the other badging was gone.

Just curious...what adhesive should we use to rebadge. I'm thinking about debadging, but in case a future owner wants it rebadged when I sell it, how do I do it?
