(which of course is why the notion of obsidian on graphite makes complete sense as colour combo! "Rock on!")

lol you kinda killed the joke there buddy, hahahah, but nice attempt atleast

I think like a blue mica on the G would be an amazing color.

LOL...glad the humour wasn't lost...the 'nerd' reply was driven by my own self-laughter when I tried to provide a glowing, eloquent description of the Obsidian colour I'd ordered for the G and they looked at me blankly and said "oh, you mean black?".

As you know, reading this forum obsessively and incessantly leads us to believe that of course eeeeveryone knows all about every detail and description of the G....I mean how could anyone not know what Obsidian means?

Hmmm.... Mica. Blue-Tone. Wait, that's it, Bluetooth Micaphone....

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a bright blue color like the new 335i has. I think they call it Montego blue. That would look AWESOME on a 35Sport!!

I wish there was a Charcoal/dark Gunmetal with metallic flake. The LP & PG are too light and Blue Slate is well, too blue.

Gives the almost black look but helps to hide some of the dust.

I also wish the black was more of a black-pearl or black-metallic. The flat black just shows the slightest dust and scratches. Actually all flat colors should be done away with in all cars, everything IMO should be metallic or Pearl based.

Metallic and Pearl paint looks amazing when well maintained, but you have to cross your fingers and hope nothing ever happens to the paint because it is far more expensive to have a 3 stage paint application done in a body shop.
