Actually I'm quite the opposite. Having grown up in the suburbs, I like fast paced with an escape every now and then.
I live on the outskirts of the biggest city in my Province, but it is still less than 100k people. I love visiting the larger cities, but it's lifestyle is definitely doesn't interest me on a permanent basis. Just the congested traffic would annoy the heck out of me if I had to drive in it on a daily basis.

Also, I wont be getting snows for this winter since it's almost over, but I have to drive upstate tomorrow to go skiing/boarding and we/they are supposed to see 1-2ft of snow so I'm a little scared of driving my X tomorrow (altho the highway should be plowed - I'm hoping). All of my previous cars have been FWD, so this is my first RWD experience and from stories from my friend who had an IS300, G35c, IS350 RWB basically blows in the snow, which is one of my main reasons for getting an X.

How concerned should I be about driving tomorrow w/ my stock X?
Ketan I am positive you will be fine. I drove through a terrible snowstorm and one closed road with my stock AS tires the day I picked up my G35X. You will be okay (although snows are soooo much better), just be cautious when braking, leave extra room for safety.
I think those flextrax would be a handy emergency tool to have in the trunk, but not to use regularly.

EDIT: hey Christian, I didn't see your post when I was writing this, looks like we were thinking the same thing .

I'll take the fact that you agree with me to mean that we're right. Canadians are never wrong are we?

I like it here, because of the slower pace of life, friendly people, nice beaches, good fishing etc.
Another big reason are the beautiful sunsets.

GEE35X I know Kincardine quite well, it is a beautifull place. In my younger years I used to play beach volleyball, nothing professional just an amateur beer sponsored tour around Ontario. I played on the beaches in Kincardine quite a few times. Great fun! Yes I do believe Canadians are almost always right also.

They still play beach volleyball throughout the summer.
If you are ever returning up this way, give me a shout.
