Wow

Talk about dedication.... With that amount of Infinitis, they should have given you the G for free...

I have a very similar situation.

I just put a down payment on an 07 Slate Blue on Graphite G35x, Prem/Nav/Tech/Wood, Splash Guards, Trunk Cargo Net and Wheel Locks.
2 Weeks and it's here - Can't wait!!!!!

The dealer is 3M certified, and they want $695 for the Hood/Fender/Mirror kit.
The front bumper is just as expensive.

I've shopped for local places who are certified installers using the 3M and XPel websites. Everyone I've found has very similar pricing, so I've decided to let the dealer do it so she's protected before she ever leaves the lot.

$1400 for a clear bra???
The thought is killin me.

Please tell me that is 1400 Taiwan Dollars (US$42.29)!! I only paid CDN$725 for bumper w/ strip around the grill, mirrors, fenders and 1/3 hood and I have heard of others paying considerably less than that. $700 will buy you a new bumper cover.

Dammmmmmmmmmmm thats awesome. I hope to have a list like that of Nissan Products. Im on my 3rd. I was originally saving up to buy the 08' GT-R but when i saw the new 07 sedan i was like and i thought to myself hmmmmmmm GT-R = Lots of speed and tickets and people wanting to race
07 G35S = Pimped out sports sedan with plenty of room..

So i went and ordered one in December.

That's just it.... I know it's too much but every place I call around here has very similar pricing.
One place was $100- cheaper but the guy was a complete jerk on the phone.

I'd like to shop around and wait if necessary, but my daily commute is on the dreaded Mass Pike and I want the front end protected as soon as possible.
This is what is making the dealership so attractive...knowing the car is protected right from the start.

I'm in central MA. All local shops certified through XPel and/or 3M are in the same price range.

I am starting to lean towards the dealer because I like the fact that it will be protected before leaving the lot (I hope!). Seeing the different prices that others payed for it, $600+ isn't sounding so bad now.

Okay.
I talked to the General Manager about the pricing of the 3M film.
He said it's $799 for the Hood, Fenders and Mirrors kit - Installed.
Adding the Bumper kit would double the price.

I explained that when I first discussed the deal, I was told $695 for the front end.
I then told him to review the G related forums and see that others are getting this same kit for half his rediculous costs.

When it was all said and done, he agreed to install the Bumper, Hood, Fenders and Mirrors for $695.
I also confirmed through 3M that his guy is 3M certified.

Not a bad deal...just took some haggling. :-)

Delivery is sometime during the week of March 30th.
Time is standing still.
I'm dyin!

Quote from dealer as follows:

The pricing on the 3M is $299 for the Hood, Fender and Mirror protection and
$349 for the full bumper protection (includes around the grill).

Decent??
