Hey guys, today might be the day to purchase the G35x! I'm going with my parents in 2 hours or so! Anyways, everyone knows how dealers are after you agree on a specific price, they try to sell you paint sealers, leather care sealant, etc. My question is, are they worth it!? On another note, I'm going to try to talk to the salesman about the clear-bra and maybe window tinting - are clear bras worth it? Also, is it possible to get the clear bra to cover the grille, since there have been a lot of complaints about the lack of quality of the grille? We are getting approx. $3200-3500 off the MRSP of the fully loaded one and we're also financing the car. The colour combo. which I wanted on my G was IP w/Graphite Interior, but Canada does not offer that, so now I'm going for Blue Onyx (Blue Slate in USA) w/Graphite Interior. Also, thank you all for those who have helped me decide on my first car! What a great forum!

Good luck to you and your folks hullio.
If you can't work clear-bra and tint into the deal get it afterwards from a jobber, there are a few good ones around that you can go to. Get the clear-bra on the whole front end (bumper wrap, leading edge of fenders and hood, and mirrors)
Don't bother with Dealer extras like sealants, rust control etc.
I feel Scotchguard on carpets etc is also good.
Get factory Splashguards also.

Hope to hear from an X owner shortly

Underbody - don't bother
Splash guards (don't know if you have these) - worth it
Wheel / tire insurance - up to you. New wheel is ~$700 (USD), 5 yr coverage was $350 for me, I bought
Cargo net - sorta useful
Clear bra - make sure it's a good deal, and they use 3M, XPel or something quality. You should check prices with installers before you go.

Good luck!

Congrats Hullio!!
+1 on the splash guards...
I'd pass on the rest - but at $3500 under MSRP?!! WOW!
You can afford to do some of these things once you get it home!

Come back with pics!
