Talked to the mechanic this afternoon. He said they were checking every single wire in the system and had a call into the national tech service. I am not feeling good about this. I was really hoping it would get resolved without my new car turning into an old one. The thought of the factory installed wiring getting mangled scares me. I am worried that the future of this car is going to be one of rattles and failures if they have to do too much work.

Keep mentioning some sort of compensation for your time and trouble!!!

There is a reason I'm an Infiniti ***** - they really do take care of me.
Happy Ending and all! EWWW! J/K!

So it has been one day shy of two weeks and they still haven't figured out what the problem is.

I am so frustrated right now.

3 days of driving, 2 weeks in the shop.

I can't help but think that if/when I do get my car back it's going to be nothing like a new car. I am probably going to have rattles, fit problems, and issues cropping up for the rest of my ownership all due to the amount of work they are spending trying to fix it.

You should get a new one. And no payments until the new one arrives.

Totally unacceptable... I hope you're talking with the General Manager and Corporate.

Sorry you have to deal with this. I've never had a single problem with every Infiniti we've owned..

Only one question......were there any silver saucer like objects in the area at the time? Ok, seriously, I would ask for a loaner till my replacement car gets here. I'm sure they will fix it though, and it will be brand new again.

Return the car and get a new one.... tell them you are not satisfied and dont feel good about the whole situation. I dont see why infiniti will not oblige.

Aye. This sukcs for you. I'm sorry it happened. Two weeks is half way to lemon in most states. Hopefully you can angle this to get a new car (maybe call a lawyer?). The G is an excellent car, but something is amiss with this one....
