Any more pics yet???? I have to see this car in person, because some pics make it look SEXY and others like an Altima. So far 1st GEN G35 looks better IMO

Well if this guy is correct, The one who had the G37 in his driveway, and you cannot feel a BIG difference on the 30 extra HP and smaller TQ increase numbers, I'm going for an 07 and leaving it at that. Remember guys, I'm coming from a 91 Integra LS AUTO.. I get 90whp!! lol. Piece of ****, beautiful car, but the power plant is that of a ride-on lawn mower

G35 insurance

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but how is the insurance on the g35? I'm 21, and I'm going from a Pathfinder to a G35. I figure it can't be too bad as it's a 4 door, but how much of an increase should I expected?

There is a difference with sport and X. sport is obviously more. expect to pay about 50-60% more then what your paying now, so if $1200/yr expect to pay about $1800/yr.

Is that with the sport or the X. I'm talking about the X.

Call your insurance company, and tell them you are considering a G35. They will give you a quote.

I chuckled when I saw this crap about the motor not fitting. Considering it's the same motor with a slightly longer stroke from a change of crank there should be no reason for it not to fit. Sorry if it's been posted earlier in the thread already.

Yes its been mentioned before... but the information was from somebody who worked at Infiniti... possibly the janitor.. so how could it be wrong..

Furthermore, why would this car be parked so close to the wall, and really, shouldn't it be parked inside the garage instead? Also, if you live in Toronto (where it gets daaaamn cold), I couldn't imagine anyone parking their luxury automobile outside. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a cynic, because the photographic evidence does look somewhat authentic, but there's a lot wrong with this picture. Most importantly, given that the vehicle doesn't launch for another 3-4 months, I'd imagine it'd be nearly impossible for anyone not associated with the press to have their hands on this car so soon. There's just no way possible that "some guy" has one sitting in his driveway. I'm betting that even the top-tier execs wouldn't be able to get their hands on an early model.
i make 6 figs (300k+ actually), and still live in an apartment

My guess is the G37 sedan will become somewhat of a high performance model of the G with a slightly lowered suspension, some mild body work, and 19" rims.
While I do believe the engine will fit, especially when displacement increases often are internal changers, I have trouble believing that Infiniti will offer a performance variant of the sedan with a new susp. and 19's. Sure I'd love it, but I was already blue in the face waiting for the sedan to get 19's and brakes like the previous coupes.

BTW, the 92-94 Max was one of my favorites and started my love for Max's until I finally got my AE in late '00. Then my love died with the bloated '04. I heard the 92-94 engine was not as reliable, true?
