My wife wanted the Stone with her Lakeshore Blue. Correction she insisted, so maybe it is a feminine thing. I think the combo looks very luxurious. I gave her props on the color combo...like I could've said anything different

One evening, I went over to an internet cafe in the area where I was staying and saw pictures that some of you had posted. After looking over the pics, I emailed my wife and had her call the dealership and change it to the Stone interior. Yep ... moment of wishy-washiness!

G-Whizzer ... you made a good point when you said that it made the cabin feel more open and airy. I agree. When I looked at the pics of the Graphite interior, I had a feeling that it felt more enclosed and not as spacious. I know it's all mental but good point nonetheless.

bienson ... awesome pictures. Very clean. You made a big difference in changing my mind. Thanks for taking the time to post those pics!

GoofyG28 ... very nice pictures! I love how you showed the contrast with the dark floor mats. You sealed the deal for me. Thanks for posting and giving me an idea of how the stone interior looks with the contrasting colors!

Well ... now all I have to do is wait for my "G" to come in. I'll be sure to post when that happens. Thanks again for all of your help and input.
Congrats! It's nice to see that it's not always about black (again, I do like black, but like Whizzer said, it does make the cabin feel smaller and less spacious. With my graphite mats, the dark part of my stone interior "frames" the stone leather seats, almost making them pop even more.

When you get the chance, give us the link to your photos from Bali! I'm doing a big southeast asia trip this winter (I'm from HK, but I've only see Malaysia and Singapore when I was a little kid), so maybe I'll throw in Indonesia into my itinerary.

I think stone goes well with blue slate and black. The contrast is very appealing. I am not sure about white and stone.

Ho much hotter is interior with graphite vs. stone? Is it supernoticeable, or do both interiors get hot, before the a/c kicks in. Does graphite make sense in the south, have seen posters in nc, florida, texas, illinois all post that they have graphite interiors?

I actually had to hold off on my 08 G35 purchase due to Infiniti eliminating the Ivory Pearl/Graphite combo.

i have an LP/Stone g35, but after buying the car i kinda wanted graphite. I like stone, and i picked it b/c my sister had a CLK that was silver/grey and i like how well her grey interior held up over the years... I saw a lexus with black interior and it showed every crease and had greyish white marks all over it.
