four wheel active steer

OK well I just got a call from the dealer, they located a car for me with all of the options that I specified, (platinum graphite 6MT, graphite interior, Premium/Nav/Tech) but it has the four wheel active steer on it.

My question is if I should accept it. I do enjoy being able to get the back end out on cars from time to time, I'd like the option to do springs/coilovers in the future, and the added weight is something that i'm not too fond of.

Any feedback?

I have 4WAS on my G and i like it alot. I dont think you can lower it with the system (i dont want to try) but as far as functunality goes i definetly notice less turning of the steering when driving above 14mph. I would recommend it...also it has nothing to do with being able to throw your rear end out ..you can still do that with the option just gotta turn off the VDC button.

Trust me, the 4WAS won't prevent you from getting the back end of the car out. I have it and love it, it's a noticeable improvement over non-4was.

I've seen that the 4was out performs the non-4was on slalom and back roads. obviously it has no effect on strait racing or wide gradual turns like an oval track.
