And it's not just Nissan's sales that have declined, it pretty much everyone's. http://www.caranddriver.com/dailyaut...uto-sales.html

Toyota is actually up in terms of daily selling rate. The Nissan brand dives.

It's nice to also see Infiniti increasing in the same marketplace. I wish Nissan could have done the same as they did....

nissan is trying too hard to be different.
look at Hyundai's strategy: take a bmw, lexus, infiniti, and mash them together, and sell it for cheaper. They're biters, but they sell. Hyundai will quickly overtake nissan in sales if they keep this up.
infiniti also needs to solidify its image by creating a killer flagship to replace the bug-eyed Q45.

Look at Infiniti's website. There is no Q listed anymore. Looks like they are either working on the new "flagship" or it's now the M... I tried looking at Nissan Japan for some insight, but their top two models look like the Q.
I'm glad Nissan tries new things, if car companies stop creating, then who will Hyundai copy
The Cima in Japan has a recliner as a front passenger seat, talk about making the wife happy on long trips. Wish we could get that.
