Official 2007 Infiniti G35 Negotiated Deal Thread
#316
Anyone know a good dealerships in the south? I am in the Dallas area and every one sucks here. They all seem to think MSRP is still the hottest thing especially Houston dealers who seem to be working together to keep the price up. Anyways I am willing to travel 600-1000 miles to get the car.

'07 Ivory Pearl G35x (Nav, Tech and Premium packages) W/ Wood Trim option. The retail for this is $40,500. I got it for $37,500 ($3000.00 under MSRP and $500 over invoice). No haggling. I just used my costco membership and the costco auto buying program. Just walk into a specific dealer and he/she will provide you with the pre-negotiated costco price for that car. It was just that simple. No arguments, no "let me talk to my manager" bullsh#$%. I got this deal from Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY.

I also got close to that($36,700)

2007 G35 Sedan Base, + factory splashguards. that's it. Last base model w/o sunroof in Texas. $750 over invoice. (+TTL). No Trade-in. Also added XM install for 1/2 price (was $500, in for $250 - not a real discount but hey it felt good). Said no to all the tack-ons. Financed through Infiniti/Nissan financial (5.99 % for 5 yrs) - not a lease. Dealer - Grubbs. Very good buying experience. This was my third Infiniti purchase from Grubbs.
Previous buys from Grubbs were '95 G20 & '99 I30. I also purchased a used '99 I30 trade-in from a local private (commission) dealer.
I now have 3 Infinitis... (2) '99 I30s for the (2) daughters & my new G35. The wifemate drives the 2003 Expedition. You don't want my insurance bill...

Premium G35X with Premium, Trunk Net and Splash guards and XM for about 800 over invoice. I wanted Stone interior and they only had graphite, and I didn't really want XM, so I was able to get them down to 800 over and only paid 100 bucks for XM. I leased, so my MF was.0019 and the residual was 22K for 36 months. However I only put 900 down (aquisition, bank, other fees, and TTL) plus my first month payment, so I walked away paying 1400 bucks and 500/month, both after tax.
I live in Pittsburgh, so there is only 1 dealer in a 200 mile radius for the most part. A month ago they only offered 500 off sticker, so I think I was able to get a decent deal.....I bought it on the last day of their fiscal year and month, which obviously helped. The low downpayment was what I was looking for, and 500/month was very acceptable to me. To buy and finance at 500/month at 5% would have required about 8.5k down.
To me it wasn't worth a trip to drive a couple hundred miles to save a couple hundred bucks.

I live in Spring, TX (just N.of Houston) and purchased 07G Sport w/Prem & Nav in of Feb. for 1600.00 under msrp (approx 39,000) from Jackie Cooper Imports in Tulsa, OK. 850 mi trip from houston, a lot closer to Dallas. It was well worth the trip. Contact Jon Green, real good guy and tell him James from Spring sent you.

Most people are not willing to drive 600+ miles just to buy a car
