Bad Gas Mileage And High Revs On Cold Start - Page 2 - G35Driver

Long story short, I have a 07 35x tech 1100 miles. I get 14.8mpg. I was not driving hard, I was still breaking the car in. Also, When I have a cold start, 50 % of the time it revs and holds 2000rpms for a min or two. I even ad trouble shiffting in reverse. WTF!!!! Only mod that I have is a stillen exhaust, dealer installed. Any help? Any one with the same problem? How is the new exhaust? You got some pics

I call BS on you. I get 20-22mpg consistently. I drive 60-40 mix of highway and city. I do 70-100 on the highway. I dont do major jack rabbit starts from lights, but do a decent job accelerating from a stop. I do take it easy on the breaks and am great at anticipating red lights, so my driving doesn't have me breaking a lot even in the city.

I just took a trip where I drove from Atlanta to West Palm Beach via Orlando. I hit 100-120 a few times and most of the drive I was at 75-90mph. I averaged 80-85mph overall on the highway drive. I got 20-21mpg for the trip and I did that by checking the odometer and the gallons filled between fillups.
