the "folded" rubber pieces on the left and right side of the sunroof keep coming off, they manage to unclip themselves from the sunroof and just fall off. its kinda frustrating having to clip these things back on. i wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem with their sunroofs. i'll be bring the G in for its first oil change tomorrow so should i mention it to the service dept?

Just go to your dealership and they will fix that for you. It is a warranty work. I had mine fixed last SAT when they did my Oil change. Good luck.

Infiniti has released a bulletin regarding this quite awhile ago now. Just take it in and have them issue the fix. I fixed mine myself and it hasn't come off since.

The bulletin calls for just fabric tape ons, but the tape ons is only for the top part to the glass.... not sure if the tape applies to the bottom as well.

on a side note, does the sunroof look like it could open another 2 inches or is it just mine? Can that be adjusted?

Mine fell off and hit me on the head while parked with the roof closed! I put it back in place, but it's pretty lose. Hopefully it stays in place till my 3750 miles service.

Mine became detached about a week after I got my car. But I just snapped it back in and it hasn't detached since. And I open up my sunroof almost everyday.
